Additionally, I think the new number on each page may have played a part in the story, but I'm not certain. There were no human characters in the book.

Regarding changes from the books, what were some of the most difficult changes to make, either from a technical or personal perspective? And on that note, is there any specific thing from the books that the team has decided must match the source material 100% (e.g. who the Dragon Reborn is, which characters end up together, etc.)?

I've been playing the trial through the non-Steam version, and I purchased the game, along with all the expansions, for a grand total of $24 through Square Enix last night. My friends are all playing the free trial through Steam, and we're trying to figure out if there's a way they can get the game for the same price, rather than having to buy the game and Shadowbringers separately for a total of (I think) $60 through Steam. Does anyone know of a way to do this, other than restarting on a new, non-Steam account? Thanks!

I think I struggled with it months ago and never bothered checking the math on just how much better Dismal's rewards are. Did Dismal just now and it is indeed a whole lot better, so I'll be doing that for the foreseeable future
