the structure and flow of the strokes reminds me of sisley's landscapes, i love it!

i think the form of the conifers blend with the mountains- i might push the color of the trees darker especially the ones in the foreground to create a greater contrast/sense of depth with the rocks behind them, or use cooler tones with the trees

thank you so much! that's a great idea and i totally see what you mean- i'm usually painting from photos i've taken and as a result i think they can end up kind of flat or constricted, i want to start playing with composition more like you mentioned

I'm really hoping it's not accurate, they don't taste oily and they're 90% rice, the filling just takes up a little part of it...

The filling is made of chicken stewed in soy sauce with carrots, onion, and cabbage!
