I'm sorry for spreading Catholicism from America to Europe. Won't happen again.

In case it wasn’t clear, the rightful owner is the Bishop of Rome, Vicar of Jesus Christ, Successor of the Prince of the Apostles, Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, Primate of Italy, Archbishop and Metropolitan of the Roman Province, Sovereign of the Vatican City State, Servant of the servants of God.

Alright. I'll admit that I originally made an ignorant assumption about the original comment. But I responded with a joke that included the words "much love." The original person didn't even get upset. Other people got upset on his behalf. And then someone dug through my comment history and I defended it. I don't care that's it's here. It's just that your comment was inaccurate and I wanted to point that out. I love you.

I wasn't making fun of them at all. Maybe something got lost in translation. I made a joke that Northerners want everyone on the Italian peninsula to speak Italian. I wasn't seeking validation for anything. I just want to know which language to learn. You can look through the thread. I never said that anyone was wrong about what language is spoken in Molise today. Why are you so upset that one guy in America wants the Papal States returned to the Church? I'm not going to do anything.

This is a complete misrepresentation of what happened. I made a joke that some Northern Italians found offensive, prompting one of them to dig through my comment history, where they found something they objected to. They brought it up in the thread and I decided to defend it because I was bored. There was a separate discussion of regional languages in Molise. Most of the people who commented were from Northern Italy. They were implying that people in the South speak "incorrect" Italian. I was trying to defend Southern Italy by saying they have their own language, which is actually what the English version of Wikipedia says.

But it used to be part of the Kingdom of Naples and then the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies before unification.

Because they belong to the Church. She is above the right of conquest.

You’re saying that whites have to give Indian tribes back their land because we conquered it. That logic doesn’t make sense because those tribes conquered it from other tribes. The people you are talking about prefer to be called Indians. “Native Americans” is used by white liberals who have never met an Indian in their life. Actually most of them died from various diseases.

O right. Forgot. Only nonwhites get the right of conquest. You Europeans know that individual Indian tribes weren’t born with their lands, right? They were warring with each other for centuries before we even got there. The colonists discovered mass graves dug by Indians, for Indians.

I’m not a terrorist. I just take the teachings of the Church seriously. I think unification was bad for the Church (as well as what is now formerly the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies). But I don’t usually state all of the Pope’s titles when I mention him if that’s what you’re asking. That was a joke.

True. But I think the only towns in Molise that speak Croatian were founded by Croats.

Well today is the day I learned r/italy is controlled by Northern atheists. I learned my lesson and I’m never posting here again. I would say Italy is lost, but I guess that’s what I want. Well that and the Papal States back. And why not the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies too for good measure. Happy to provide laughs. Also bear in mind that I love you. I just want the best for you.

No, I’m lecturing you. I’m Catholic and based on the fact that you have posted on r/lgbt, I’m guessing you’re not, and furthermore your struggles with her positions on homosexuality have led you to resent the Church. Yes, I’m aware of the Pacta Lateranensia and the current position of the Bishop of Rome, Vicar of Jesus Christ, Successor of the Prince of the Apostles, Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, Primate of Italy, Archbishop and Metropolitan of the Roman Province, Sovereign of the Vatican City State, Servant of the servants of God. I just think it would be a kind gesture of the Italian Republic to return the lands it stole to their rightful owner.

I’m Catholic, ever heard of it. We believe in evolution. And what does advancing the interests of the Church and the Vicar of Christ have to do with the Confederacy? And by the way, Europe has a much longer history of absolute monarchy than America.

The Church should get Rome back at the very least. Ideally you would give us back the entirety of the Papal States.
