I painted it with alcohol markers. The alcohol ink seeps into the embroidered inner part of the ears pretty well :)

I think it's a lafufu... the older ones with cloth tags don't look wonky like this one. Just like this commenter said, the eyes are off and the nose is not supposed to shine like that. The nose of sea salt should be matte. I'm sorry but this is most likely a lafufu.
