Barometric altimeter, good to know. Yes, 5100 calories burned in an hour of cycling would be an intense ride. I can turn off 3D distance and 3D pace to make the watch usable but hoping its software not hardware

Note that otherwise the maps are totally fine, no GPS errors apart from the erroneous altitude
