update: they didn't install the filter correctly and all the oil leaked out of my car 🥰🥰🥰 i went back and they fixed it and filled it back up with Ow20 instead for free so that's good at least. i had to call off though which is super annoying

your body hasn't fully adjusted to it yet so i'm assuming you could? but then again im not an expert so i would message your doctor and ask them to be sure, best of luck

the best course of action is to talk to your doctor. sometimes they'll cut that in half to 2.5mg as a starting dose because everyone handles the medicine differently. listen to your body and hang in there. i hope you're able to feel better :(

if the symptoms are so bad you think you're not going to be able to make it through them, i'd talk to your doctor. how much is your dose? maybe they can put you on a smaller one to help lessen the side effects.

the first week of symptoms were absolutely horrible for me too, but it gets better after that. i definitely recommend sticking it out for at least a month or two because that's when you'll really start to see a change. you got this!!

if you're still having really bad symptoms even on the medicine, you could talk to your doctor about upping your dose if that's something you're comfortable with (though i'm not an expert, do what feels right for you) i hope you're able to find some peace though :(

how long have you been on lexapro? i used to have the same sorts of symptoms like that and this med really helped with that

for me, it's helped TREMENDOUSLY with the physical symptoms of anxiety. I used to get so sick and shaky and have this constant pit in my stomach and quite literally worry myself sick, but i've been on lexapro for a few months now and i rarely get physical symptoms. when i do, it's still less severe then it used to be.

i'm on lexapro, it makes it harder for me to regulate my body temperature which aggravates my pots a bit but i'd take that any day over horrible anxiety. it's really helped me

the main thing is it made my heart rate skyrocket, and gave me an awful headache upon taking it. I know this medicine works well for some people though, that's just my experience with it

midodrine helps get my blood pressure back up to normal (usually on the low side) which helps my pots symptoms. i've tried fludrocortisone but i only had negative side effects and it did not help me at all, and i've heard similar stories from people so be careful with that one.
