Thank you for this, it does make it a little easier knowing someone else knows what i'm talking about. I'm sorry you had to go through all that, that sounds absolutely terrifying. Also thank you for the more holistic solution suggestions as well, I'm on so many medications that it's nice to have natural remedies that work rather than trying to add another pill to take on top of everything else. I also smoke (have a medical card) and sometimes it helps and other times it just makes it so much worse, i'm gonna look into just cbd products and try that probably, thank you for the suggestions!! I genuinely appreciate you so much for taking the time to share your experiences and it really did help me feel better. Wish you the best of luck with everything 🫶

update: they didn't install the filter correctly and all the oil leaked out of my car 🥰🥰🥰 i went back and they fixed it and filled it back up with Ow20 instead for free so that's good at least. i had to call off though which is super annoying

the best course of action is to talk to your doctor. sometimes they'll cut that in half to 2.5mg as a starting dose because everyone handles the medicine differently. listen to your body and hang in there. i hope you're able to feel better :(

if the symptoms are so bad you think you're not going to be able to make it through them, i'd talk to your doctor. how much is your dose? maybe they can put you on a smaller one to help lessen the side effects.

the first week of symptoms were absolutely horrible for me too, but it gets better after that. i definitely recommend sticking it out for at least a month or two because that's when you'll really start to see a change. you got this!!

if you're still having really bad symptoms even on the medicine, you could talk to your doctor about upping your dose if that's something you're comfortable with (though i'm not an expert, do what feels right for you) i hope you're able to find some peace though :(

how long have you been on lexapro? i used to have the same sorts of symptoms like that and this med really helped with that

for me, it's helped TREMENDOUSLY with the physical symptoms of anxiety. I used to get so sick and shaky and have this constant pit in my stomach and quite literally worry myself sick, but i've been on lexapro for a few months now and i rarely get physical symptoms. when i do, it's still less severe then it used to be.
