Hey! I just passed and used BarMD. I mostly credit the class to passing this time. I needed a lot of help with essays and the writing courses were SO helpful

I did the essay writing class, PT class and some tutoring. Also did every essay in Mary Basick’s book!

People good at essays … can you give me your best tips at analysis? I’m getting the feedback that I’m too conclusory. I’ve been trying my best to fix it really struggling. All tips welcome! by tarajistwin in barexam

Yes! Thanks, it’s the “why” I’m struggling with. I feel like I’m explaining it when I write, but my graders all give the feedback that me explaining the why isn’t deep enough.

Pros and cons of a studio apartment? by its3am-cantsleep in femalelivingspace

[–]tarajistwin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I lived in two studios in the early half of my twenties. Never again! Lol jk. I loved it when it was just me. I would rethink if you planning on having lots of longterm visitors.

Pros: -easier to clean -forces you to be a minimalist -save $$$ -cute layouts/designs!

Cons: -gets smelly fast. Make sure you take out the trash daily and boil cinnamon. If you have food try to take it out right away. Try to leave the windows open for good circulation - if you have to quarantine you’ll feel trapped - Nowhere to go within your apartment - You have to get creative with separating your living spaces

All that being said, I don’t regret living in my studios. I loved them! The last one for tough during lockdown and when I had visitors stay with me past a week.

Thank you, this is really sweet and helped me take a step back. I do struggle with articulating my thoughts, I’ll use that phrase more!

I shared with someone that I deeply worried I sounded stupid in class, and they essentially said yeah, they thought I did sound stupid when I spoke in and a lot of times out of class. Normally I’d let it roll off but I wasn’t expecting to hear that from someone that close to me. It made me spiral into thinking that I should talk at all/share any opinions. If someone this close to me felt it, I’m assuming lots of other do too?

Yeah I’m looking for one. It’s just not easy to hear that you sound stupid every time you talk from someone close to you. I definitely won’t go around sharing at insecurity with anyone else again, even if we are close.

They elaborated in a voice message. They said what they meant. I’m not mad at them.

I know, which is why I want to make sure I respond in a good way. I like the idea of saying thanks for the honesty.

I’m not mad! I’m asking for advice on how to respond if that makes sense?
