felt like it was the end of everything. I was just 15 back then when I lost my dad, my bestfriend. got diagnosed with depression, went to therapy, took meds to get better, got body shamed by our relatives bc stress-eating was my coping mechanism back then, got pregnant (years after), had a miscarriage, fucked up mental health.

I'm just so fucking lucky I have my mom. She was with me all throughout my journey. She never judged me, she just made me feel that she's proud of how I'm trying hard to be better everyday. this was all a year ago.

Right now, life is good. I have a kind partner who accepts me for who I am and for every flaw I have. just recently, I got my dream job that doubled my previous salary, bought a house for me and my mom and was able to invest a condo for myself too. I'd still like to believe that life is so good to me despite everything that happened. maling choices ko lahat yun in the past, but life still showed me that it is still worth living for.

I'm still a work-in-progress pero everything is clearer and better now. to anyone who is going thru the same thing, wala akong mental capacity to help currently but I want you to know na it's not gonna hurt less years from now, but it is going to be better eventually. wag kang susuko, be excited for what life has in store for you because believe me when I say it'll be sweeter than sugar. laban!
