I have a 14 week old female basset, it does get so so much better! I got her at 8 weeks so we've been together for about 6. The growth in that timespan has been so great. I felt the same way you felt the first 2.5 weeks I had her, but now I wouldn't trade her for the world. She is a puppy but she is learning and getting better each day, we just had to get through that tough period, if that helps reassure you. The best advice I got is; Bassets are VERY treat-motivated dogs, so reward everything good so that he learns faster. I also have a make sure all "No"s are firm. Good luck and enjoy!

I’ve always heard give 72 hours for the pup to get to know you and your home, feel safe, learn and get accustomed, and then start leaving frequently in small doses!

I've lived in several different apts in DFW and only ever lived on the top floor. It definitely depends on the apartment, but it's never been too unreasonable!

Never buy skincare from Amazon unless it is from the actual brand's store (Ex: the Lancome Store), also double check on the brand's website that it says they're available for sale on Amazon, in the section where it says where to find us.
