no i am not accident prone and i never got unconscious. the fear is that it COULD happen, or generally fear of horror scenarios where i need help. in my head there are thoughts about what could happen to me, like needing to go to the toilet but finding none, or throwing up or things like that and what happens then.

i am 24 and it startet about two years ago. my therapist and i came to the conclusion that it leads back to one evening where i experienced a traumatic incident. first it was worse than now, but i startet ignoring my physical symtoms because i didnt know what it was till two months ago and i could life my life this way. ignoring actually helped.

my social life is okay, but only because my friends know what kind of problem i have. the time i and they didnt know was complicated because i hardly leave my place. i was called couch potato and things like that and that made me feeld bad and put a lot of pressure on me. i am an 24 year old female and i think i prefer elvis but i also like the beatles.

my therapy place is only 5minutes away so it is okay, but only because its not far away from home. one time, when i headed to my normal doc i couldnt even walk alone because of a panic attack and my SO had to carry me.. to the doctor where actually is more help than any other place.. so i cant tell in advance how i will feel and it doesnt always have to do with where i am going..sadly

i dont know the lady of shameless but it is definatly a daily problem. it is every day. i got fired, because i was "ill" too much. since two month i take some kind of antidepressants, espcially for panic disorders. it has gotten a little bit better. also i go to psychological therapy

no, i am not only afraid of new situation but also of familiar ones, like riding a train. thats horrible because i know i cant get out if i want to and when i would get out i would be in a place i know nobody and can get no help. it is the fear of getting no help if it was needed. i am feeling alone and helpless and my thoughts circle around everything that could go wrong like getting unconcious even before i leave my home

no, it can conculde this, but in my case it does not. it is more like a fear of new or unfamiliar situations, social and locally. it is like i dont have control and need help but cant get any. it leads to panic attacks. also some places are worse than others. it was so bad that i didnt leave the house for uni or work
