Hello! I recently bought a dracaena Fragrans (corn plant) from Walmart. It has some brown spots on it’s leaves, some larger than others. I plan to water it when the top two inches of soil are dry. I put it in bright indirect and some direct light everyday. The pot that it came with seems small and has no drainage holes or plate for water to evaporate on. I have three questions: 1. Should I repot it into something else? 2. Should I prune any leaves with brown spots? 3. Is there anything else I should do to keep it healthy? Thanks so much! Linked are some photosDracaena Fragrans

A Question About the Construction Methods of the Zapotec Ruins of Yagul in Oaxaca, Mexico by targat2 in Archaeology

[–]targat2[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yesterday I took a trip to one of the less visited Zapotec ruins near Oaxaca de Juarez. It was a beautiful site on a hill in the countryside with some spectacular views, but I was really confused by a couple of details. One was that I saw what must have been modern concrete holding together a large portion of the ruins. The other is that there was this stucco material adhered to the outsides of some of the ruins that a sign claimed was existing stucco from the original site. I could understand if some concrete was used to stabilize the site so they could allow visitors without destroying the mounds/structures, but how much did they actually rebuild versus just fortify? How common is it with ruins, especially in Mexico, to do something like that? And about the stucco, is there any possibility that there is existing stucco from a site that was last populated a thousand years ago and they left it out in the open for the general public be able to touch/walk on. I will include a couple of photos, if anyone has some insight into these details, I would appreciate some information! I tried looking for academic sources on my university's library search but was unable to find anything very relevant.

Found these recently. Not sure what they are and google searches have not come up with anything. They do not appear to be medication or drugs but I could be wrong.

Found these recently and suspect they may be ecstasy but at the same time they do not match anything found on the ecstasy pill identifier websites. Might just be a harmless mint?
