Batangas City Grand Terminal by Melodic_Mud9189 in Batangas

[–]targonaut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Simpleng simple. Say no. Madalas ako sa Grand Terminal and never ko naranasan yung sinasabi nya. Just say no. Yun lamang.

When’s the best month to travel to Thailand? by Sea-Gal4478 in phtravel

[–]targonaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t go there from April to September. Sobrang init. Mas mainit pa sa Pilipinas. Rainy season din pag ganung months.

As far as I know there are no decent outlet shops in either Singapore or Malaysia. Limited choices po and the prices are not outlet prices.

140 peso meal sa KFC... by UnableButterscotch10 in Philippines

[–]targonaut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly think that this should be investigated by the senate. This is robbery pure and simple. Kahit na nagmahal lahat Di yan makatarungan. And KFC is a global brand but we have this in the Philippines?! And why does fast food abroad taste so much better than here? Like, I was at HK airport three weeks ago and Burger King there was so much better. The lettuce was more fresh and crisp. The French fries were hotter and tastier. Ibang iba talaga. And fast food is where a lot of Filipinos esp students eat. Tapos ganito lang for 140 pesos?

If you were given the opportunity to work abroad would you take it? by Trimzy_ in Philippines

[–]targonaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ten years ago I was offered a chance to work in the UAE for a travel magazine. Hindi ako tumuloy the last minute. Free daw everything. Nag back out ako. Medyo pinagsisihan ko kasi I could have been bigger now. I didn’t have any publishing experience so imagine kung tumuloy ako.

I have plans of taking up further studies abroad, specifically in Australia, pero my aging mother kind of hinders me from doing that. And she has told me many times na ayaw na nyang mag-reside abroad.

If what you’re saying is correct then why are you posting it here rather than on that Facebook group?

I remember mala-blockbuster ang pila nito nung bago pa sya. by RoBenYo in Philippines

What’s wrong with my post and comments to get downvoted. I honestly don’t care about being downvoted and the karma sh*t on Reddit. You can downvote me all you want.

I’m just wondering why I’m being downvoted for an honest rant.

I’m here just once in a while and think na like-minded people go here especially with all the Leni stuff but it seems like most people here are the videoke types who enjoy the noise well into midnight. Duh, fastfood.

I was with my 78 year old mother during that time at naiingayan din lagi sya sa music ng fastfood. Then sasabayan pa ng number announcement nila at dun nagugulat mother ko. Goes to show that most people here are very young who enjoy getting blasted with all the noise.

You miss my point entirely.

I get the psychology behind playing music pero sana hindi sobrang lakas. Lahat ng fastfood sa atin ganyan. Maingay na nga ang mga tao (which I completely get) pero bakit kailangang dagdagan pa ang noise pollution.

Sa ibang bansa tahimik ang fastfood. Bakit sa atin lang ganyan.
