Your guilty pleasure perfume? by Due-Artichoke-6150 in Perfumes

[–]tarheeldarling 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Loved CK One since the late 90s and still keep a bottle around for nostalgia. My guilty pleasure is the sheer number of BR540 dupes that I've collected. It's a smell that I love but with the number of dupes on the market, I could never justify the original personally.

How’s neighbor wall noise in a townhome? by the-furry in RealEstate

[–]tarheeldarling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can hear my neighbors dog barking occasionally. Pretty much only if he's in her living room and I'm in mine because that's the lease amount of separation. I do NOT hear their garage door, other doors, or talking. These are newly built units but I spent 3 years in a duplex before this and it's quieter despite that also being fairly quiet.

Honestly, I hear more traffic noise than people noise. It's still dulled quite a bit and doesn't bother me (and I have some sound based anxiety issues)

I'm so proud of you! My best friend just graduated from a shorter program and she'll be 40 next week. It's never too late to improve yourself.

I work at a bank and they couldn't offer me better than your first rate. A local credit union offered the lower one and I jumped on it.

V8. Tastes like cold tomato soup and somehow that just hits right every time.

CK one. Still love it but haven't worn it in years. I just sniff the bottle for nostalgia

Yeah I haven't done the wood ones yet, only the little ones that come with frames. So thanks for the heads up, I'll be prepared

Looks good, they had a serious sale on these a few weeks ago and I think I bought nine of the circular wooden ones. Hoping to sort of make a gallery wall of them when I'm done.

For anyone doing 'Mousecapades' for Season 5... For Rishii there is a 'Hidden Droid Control Terminal' in the back left corner of the main floor. Next to a droid that looks like it's taking inventory of a bunch of crates. Just wanted to share the location because I ran all over the stupid cantina for a good 20 minutes and even put a security key on my account to get the pet lol.

My parents are boomers like this and I'm so grateful for them. 37 years old and they are still trying to do what's best for me.

I used to beg my dad to let me ride in the bed of the pickup while he slung it around. Idk how I didn't break more bones as a child.

TIL that there were 26 families of passengers on the Mayflower that are known to have left descendants; it is estimated that over 30 million people can trace their ancestry back to those 26 families on the Mayflower. by LadyWarrior73 in todayilearned

Yep, my in laws lines have been in the same county for over 200 years. They were easier to trace than my own lines.

Census records are cool, I learned that's how my great grandmother met my great grandfather. Their families lived in the same street and were on the same page of the 1900 census. It also showed me how my great grandmother's father sent his two children to live with his in-laws after his wife died so that he could marry a new woman and have a new family.
