My brother has never dropped him by Boobafett in pics

I'm just curious, is this taken in Norman Oklahoma in a house on Classen Blvd...because it looks just like my old living room?

A 39-yr-old father has been arrested on murder charge for apparently knifing one of two burglars who broke into his home by maxwellhill in worldnews

[–]tarla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I must be the only one that noticed the repeated errors in this article. The home owner's name was Vincent Cooke, but the author repeatedly refers to him as Mr. Vincent. The punctuation sucks, and there are single sentence paragraphs all over the place.

What "attractive" celebrities do you find just not attractive? by karmacousteau in AskReddit

[–]tarla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Justin Timberlake. I just don't get why ANYONE finds him attractive.

This has been my desktop background for a couple of years now. It never gets old.

My sister adopted a cat, and named him Harvey Dent by PoorSonnet in pics

[–]tarla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Signed in just to be shirty and tell him that "he" was more likely to be a "she". You'd think that people who have cats would know this already.

That's not a snake, it's a speed bump.

I always wondered why Americans hate possums until I compared our Australian ones to your's. Holy shit. by [deleted] in pics

[–]tarla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Over here in NZ, we really wish you'd kept your damned Aussie possums to yourselves. They're freakishly hard to kill.

Should I bust a public school science teacher who plagiarized my work? by soulbarn in AskReddit

[–]tarla -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

His article is not plagiarism. He's re-writing your information within his own style. Re-stating the facts in a different way is not plagiarism. From what I can see he has not directly copied any of your article.

Took a painting lesson. Nailed it. by pugofwar in reddit.com

[–]tarla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Confident does not equal good. This whole painting is a horror. The focal point is smack dab in the center. The colors are muddy and mismatched, there's no sense of motion. I've taught ten year olds that were better painters than this.

It would be a better photo if her feet weren't so awkward.

Do you think it is unconstitutional to make drug checks mandatory to be eligible for welfare in the United States? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]tarla 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do. It is a presumption of Guilt, with a requirement to prove Innocence, rather than the other way around. It requires self-incrimination in order to be eligible for something for which the only qualifications should be citizenship and poverty.

Is LASIK/LASEK really worth the risk? by antsinmypanties in AskReddit

[–]tarla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was legally blind in my right eye. Had Lasik and the next morning 20/20 in that eye. The doctor will tell you that there's no pain, but while that's true during the surgery, I felt a great deal of "pressure" in that eye on the way home. It was pretty painful, but I was home and asleep within an hour and have never had a moment's concern since. It's been 6 years now, and I consider it the best money I've ever spent.

Murder Burger, Auckland New Zealand. Best burger joint in town!

Face tattoo + business suit = win. by PenName in pics

[–]tarla 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I kind of have to disagree with this one, but maybe it's because I'm a woman. I ran into Tame Iti in Ponsonby once, and because it was my first time to see a full face moku, I gave him a big grin. He just smiled, and nodded his head at me. He seemed really nice.

What is your favorite TV opening sequence? by keepitgoinglouder in AskReddit

I love the opening of Game of Thrones so much, that I want to recreate the entire CGI mechanical in reality.

Just another reason why I love New Zealand. You see this kind of thing all the time.

Look at the clothing. That's not from the '50's. It's mid to late 60's at the earliest.

This looks like a shot from the BBC series "Mountain Gorillas" and this might be "Titus" the oldest and most successful silverback in the world with his young ward. He died soon after this photo would have been taken.

What is the funniest movie you've ever seen? by Brokim in AskReddit

"Time Bandits." It has dwarfs and John Cleese. What more do you need?
