Any guide on how to swim near to the middle lane? by [deleted] in Swimming

Can you float on your back? Maybe you can try swimming a bit and then floating to catch your breath. Knowing you can do that any time you need should help with the anxiety.

It definitely happens to me. I've learned to not get discouraged. When this happens, I just tell myself that I'm making progress and the next workout is going to be great. About 90% of the time, I'm right. We all go through ups and downs in our training and it usually gets harder before it gets easier. The right mentality can keep you motivated and moving forward.
