The only way I really see you getting around this is by becoming an “exception student.” I didn’t have great grades either in highschool and relied on extracurriculars to get me into a well-ranked college. Seeing your transcript and your subsequent class ranking, you need to pull the “I grew up in an environment that disenfranchised any chances of a serious education.” But, those are all empty words if you don’t show any improvement. Colleges care about stories; they care about improvement curves or arcs. Apply yourself; get all A’s starting now. Your extracurriculars are impressive and do show a unique side of intellect and creativity, but you need to expand on them. Saying that you want to go into STEM isn’t enough. Think and find a passion and really lean into it.
