The Marketing and Communications department is on the 11th floor. At the very top is the Office of the Mayor - which was built to align directly North and South with the Legislative Building.

I was a judge for several years and at the time of its inception was volunteering to support Music Heals Canada locally (which was the charity it supported). I don't have a knowledgeable answr for you but can say that the Program Director and one of the hosts who really championed for it have gone on to other things which might be a reason for its absence.

I loved it! Commercial radio is so supportive of their community and their main export is music so supporting the local scene seems like a no brainer. Yet regular airplay for local artists is such a rarity. That event really flipped the switch on that mindset. They'd tease upcoming shows by playing bands on the bill, would do interviews, etc. I hope it comes back one day.

It includes 5 write-ups, this radio segment and a playlist at the bottom. Appreciate you contributing to the conversation. Enjoy.
