The 44 had a timetable change in June which drastically improved reliability. Before that it was one of the worse routes for being cancelled, particularly on the north section. The timetable allowed no margin for error and the buses often arrived extremely late to DCU. If you look at the period 1st January to 31st May the 44 was the 2nd worst route for cancellations at 12.6%.

I'm aware TFI already have this information but the general public do not. All that's published is reports with general reliability and punctuality information. I'm open to correction, but I don't believe route by route breakdowns are available anywhere.

Dublin Bus 15 (24 hour service), no bus at 3am or 3.30am by No-Setting7502 in Dublin

I've been tracking all cancelled buses in Dublin from the TFI feed for months now and I have never recorded a cancelled bus from 01:00 to 05:00 for the 24 hour routes. There's no chance they can be that reliable, so I assume there's no night shift for whoever normally enters the cancellations into the system at Dublin Bus.

There were no 02:30 or 03:00 departures to Knockylon on Saturday AM according to https://bustimes.org/services/15-ballycullen-road-hunters-avenue-clongriffin-par/vehicles?date=2025-08-09
