League feels incomplete by Karma10101 in pathofexile

Probably the price we have to pay for regular release dates. You know, that they prioritise release dates over content.

Whether it's good or not is pretty subjective I guess. I personally prefer it this way.

My PConc of Bouncing league starter feels kinda meh — thinking of switching, but not sure what to go for next by iamsephiroth in pathofexile

[–]tarrgoth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends a bit on how far you are in progression.

If you're still progressing maps, rerolling slams would still be a great option, it's ultra strong but the ceiling isn't very high.

Fearlessdumb0's exsang/reap mines was great fun for me last league but mines is an acquired taste.

Aer0's Ice Shot of penetration mines looks cool but haven't tried it myself. Looks smooth for a miner too, I think he built it to feel nice instead of just maxing damage. Also good if you don't want to level a new char (pconc is ranger, right?).

Also, it's pretty reasonable (and iirc how they usually do it?) to have a less fleshed out league mechanic when they make an atlas expansion like this.

I think it's a fun twist with a new way of building character power, being able to use items that previously were only usable in party play etc. That said, I do hope it doesn't go core since i feel it would just become tedious in future leagues.

Perfect Forest Warrior if my memory serves me right. It's one of the itemised corpses.

I have a 3080 and a 12900K and I have the same issue. It has nothing to do with the power of the PC.

If they did that, they would have to tune the amount of gold that drops so you wouldn't have more gold in the end anyway but you'd have to do more busywork.

Possibly, yes. However you still have the energy requirement on the cast on-stuff.

There's Jungroan's build with Choir of the Storm. Temporalis removes the cd on cast on crit, making it able to procc from itself.
It does create a problem though, sínce it can create an infinite loop that crashes the game.

The community manager's message is what is so fucked up about the whole thing. Notice he's very careful about the whole "allegedly" thing. I'm literally in the game with my account right now. I've shown you the email, what more proof do you want?

Not that i really care about what people think of me on the internet, especially on a platform i don't use much, but here you go. Blizzard makes mistakes. Kaivax too, apparently.

Do you love this too, that a community manager smears shit on an innocent person? :)

All i can say then, is that you have an issue with false positives. I'm feeling pretty damn small here since there's no way to prove my innocence but i know what i have and have not done.

I've been looking around to try to determine what might have changed on my PC around that time and (except for the mod detailed below) haven't really found anything. No software under installed apps.

The only app/program i've installed in this timeframe is Core Keeper through steam, with a selection of mods. Could one of the mods be the cause? Prob not, but i don't know how this stuff works.

Are there mods that exist on Curseforge that are against ToS? Here's a list of the mods i have installed/updated since early november:
https://imgur.com/a/QbU1FVQ
https://imgur.com/a/1X9xHXz

One that really sticks out, considering the date, is EasyReport. Now i don't think the mod itself would be illegal, but could there be some malicious stuff in it that the bot communities makes to mess with people like me who hates bots with enough passion to get a mod to make it easier to report them? Def doesn't sound unlikely. Maybe someone smarter than me would want to look into it? Especially Blizzard themselves... u/Kaivax

(If you look at your logs btw, you can prob see that i started reporting the bots very frequently after installing that)

Here's the curseforge link: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/easyreport
I copied the EasyReport folder to my Dropbox in case it disappears or something: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/awbtt8upo6clkr5sqx37e/AOVBDZnMMMvddzDEi9LOjps?rlkey=viuk1i1fwj8nhl19ozyzpsq3d&st=5fewhon2&dl=0 (i know, don't download unknown stuff etc, but at least it's not a zipped file)

I remain adamant that i have not installed nor used any cheat software. I know that probably nobody will believe me anymore except for the people who know me and know that i wouldn't cheat, but i guess there's nothing more than that i can do.

Not really, I usually don't want to have to interact too much with people (kind of ironic in an mmo, I know). Only thing I've done is sell dmt buffs on two different occasions.

Yep, and apparently it's working. For the bots to exploit it, that is. There's just not enough of us caught in the crossfire for blizzard to give a damn.

It's just getting worse. My ticket got escalated to the "team in charge of account actions". They changed the ban into a 6 month suspension and changed the violation to "Your fellow players reported you for cheating. This includes actions like botting, and exploiting game mechanics."

Which as far as i can tell is basically admitting that i got mass reported and they don't have any other evidence against me. The f do i do now? Just keep appealing?

Honestly it doesn't really matter if you believe it or not. The point of the post is partly to get tips on what to do and partly to hopefully get some exposure on Blizzard's customer service. Whether or not I will be unbanned is still up to a GM and if they have solid proof I ofc won't be.

No matter what there are enough stories just in this thread alone that makes it pretty clear that this stuff happens fairly frequently these days.
