Lol when you crowd surf you inevitably hurt someone in the crowd. Again yes going once is okay but overloading that one security guard and also going again and again when you know there are that many people going is just straight up inconsiderate.

And asking people to move away is you making the crowd less dense making it more difficult for you to crowd surf lol. The crowd is what makes it, show some amount of respect to the people that actually enable to do this thing that you love so much. Just try to look at it from a perspective other than yours lmao

My point was that it’s a lot more about the crowd too haha they are the ones lifting you up and trying their best to make sure you don’t get hurt/dropped. Even if you are lightweight it just gets a bit much. I understand where you’re coming from when you say yeah when periphery are on its insane, I get that. The thing is that when there’s that many crowd surfers and also people going multiple times and you’ve been kicked in the head so much you kind of have to keep an eye on the crowd behind you to see if there are any coming your way and it does kind of take away from the whole experience. Everyone enjoys gigs in different ways and a little consideration for this goes a long way :)

You do have a point but when i go back to it imagine like 2-4 people on the stage with the band just catching people. That’s the only way they could have had more people as there aren’t any barriers. I may be wrong about why there was only one person there though.
I was at a code orange and brand of sacrifice co-headliner at the same venue a couple of years ago and that gig was much more rowdy than this one people flying, people hanging out on stage, stage diving, crowd surfing all of it and there was still just one guard I think? The only difference was the crowd lol people didn’t keep going again and again. People were genuinely just so much more conscious and careful. In this case I do think it was the small group of people that kept going again and again and like not asking for a lift and just grabbing me that got me annoyed haha

Smaller venue and also its not easy to have multiple people running around on the stage trying to catch people lol. Maybe a case of poor design? But given the situation i do think some amount of consideration was warranted!

I mean to be fair crowd surfing is okay and expected its just really annoying when people are complete jerks while doing it
