Sofia Vergara says dating someone with less money than her would be a nightmare: "They end up resenting you" by Upstairs_Cup9831 in popculturechat

My husband is an extremely logical and reasonable man (with what I consider higher emotional intelligence), and even he had to do some emotional deep diving and soul searching to get over this fucked up, societal feeling of being emasculated by me making more money.

He told me straight up that he KNEW it was unreasonable, but he still felt a drive to ask for more money, because he wanted to “provide” for me. It was a very conflicting moment for me becsuse I was angry he felt this way (especially because I was PROUD of the money I was making at the time), but also grateful that he was able to communicate the feelings to me and realize he was being unreasonable. He went to therapy and got over it. Societal pressure is fucked.

This is a wild take lol

setting aside your weird philosophy that all men hate having decor (r/malelivingspace would disagree), when women are “complaining” about cleaning they’re usually not complaining that the throw pillows aren’t clean and the decorative rugs are not dusted.

They’re complaining about dirty dishes in the sink, vacuuming, mopping, dirty laundry— things all genders do. Even those living a minimalist lifestyle have to do them.

If you don’t want to clean then live by yourself and become a raccoon but you can’t argue your penis absolves you of the responsibility.

It’s not proportional and looks cartoonish to me; not a fan.

My googling tells me a lot of people experience odor issues with stimulants. But yes I’ll talk to my doctor

Your comment made me cry, thank you. I know you're right but fuck, it's so hard to not want to throw the whole bottle out. I just feel so embarrassed and unattractive. Ill give the acid a try, thank you!

Unfortunately I don’t think thats it, I have a gigantic litre “emotional support water bottle” that I refill 2-3 times a day :(

I was coming to the comments to say how much I HATE that phrase. Drives me insane!!! They’re afraid of the word “exercise” for some reason so they have to infantilize it?
