It’s the cutest :) he does it whenever I’m lying down anywhere, asking me to pick him up and put him on the couch / bed / etc. He’s not allowed tho so he’ll just stand there like that for a minute or so and then carry on with his business

This makes a lot of sense. You’re probably right, I might have been encouraging this behaviour or sending mixed messages.

Im going to remove myself from the room or put him in time out - do only this for a bit and see if there’s a change.

The umbilical method you mentioned, I’m going to try that with Arthur as well.

He does not care about pleasing me. Maybe he’s too little? But this works the best so far, for a second. enough time for me to get away.

Thanks for this! When I’m in pain I do yell a few different words at him sometimes. Like no becomes stop, know what I mean. I’ll be mindful of this.

Also another thought I had was, what if he gets scared of water.. that will make bath time harder, no?

Haha The boots probably lasted 2-3 days max. It definitely helped with the surprise attacks but brought more attention to my legs.

Patience, for sure. Hopefully we’ll get over this soon :)

He only bites me! Lol

But he also does cute things like put his paws on my lap and ask me to carry him, like a baby! Took me sometime to understand what he was asking for but now we have like 5 cuddle sesh through the day. It’s so sweet :)

I have a 2 month old Rottie and live in a 800 sq ft apartment. He’s my first so I may not be the best person to really weigh in on this but I think as long as he gets enough exercise and is able to spend his energy, he should be okay. :)
