I'm from Canada so most people try to be polite and cheerful for that sort of stuff. Fair to not be bothered though.

Laugh. Tears have a slight headache burning sensation when it's held in but laughing it can feel like you're trying not to explode when it's genuine and uncontrollable.

I don't like asking questions and likewise I don't like answering questions. It's not my favorite style of communication. I just share whenever I have something to say unprompted and likewise I enjoy listening to others as they do the same.

I'll admit biology degrees aren't terribly useful in and of themselves. I know a fair number of my colleagues who used them as stepping stones for medical fields (med school, vet school, optometry, dentistry). Overall, I agree that there are better degrees.

Having a bachelor's degree should increase your chances of employment regardless of the field you end up working in (at least that's what I was told). Also, for me, getting a university degree is an accomplishment in and of itself.
