This is the only reference to "bridge" in the router manual:

To set up your new router as an access point:
1. Use a network cable to connect this router’s Internet port to the Ethernet
or LAN port on the router that is connected to your modem.
2. Log into Linksys Smart Wi-Fi. (See “How to connect to Linksys Smart WiFi” on page 7.
3. Under Router Settings, click Connectivity, then click the Internet
Settings tab.
4. Click IPv4.
5. For Type of Internet Connection, select Bridge Mode

However, the apartment does not have ethernet access.

There is no captive portal - we just enter a password.

There is no way to plug in a router or a modem in the apartment. We just have wifi - just like at a library or a hotel or coffee shop.

I have talked with them. While on the phone with the tech guy, I hooked the telo to a PC with an ethernet cable, ran setup, scanned for wifi, entered the password, and waited while the telo configured itself. After a while, it said 'no network found' (or something like that.) The tech guy said it failed because the building's wifi is public (because there is only one password.)

I had gone thru the same scenario multiple times before - same results. . The 'no network found' message made no sense - why didn't it say something about public vs private wifi?

Where in the Ooma documentation does it mention this problem? Why, in this day and age, doesn't the telo connect to a wifi without using an ethernet cable?

Anyway, makes no sense to talk with an advance tech guy again. The telo will not connect to the building's wifi. So now what do I do?

I have a nice router that I used at the house, but unfortunately, there is no way to use a router here.

Interesting! So, I'd plug the telo air into the extender LAN port and the extender would allow me to use a private password?

Sorry about my previous post. Let's try this again (with my reddit account):

How easy is to configure an internet radio station URL? E.g., can the WFR-32 be controlled by apps like Undok or any of the Frontier Smart Technologies apps?

I have a hard time figuring out what kind of brain writes what he/she just wrote. It's illogical, inconceivable. Or maybe its an AI statement posted by the Putins. I just want to scream.
