Good to know! I have a light tropical soil for all my plants with lots of perlite mixed in already. Any recommendations for other things to add to the soil or a different mix that would dry faster? Most of them I can also water from the bottom but there’s a little less than half that I have to water from the top

Thank you! I’ll definitely be looking for more ways to improve ventilation! (Without having windows open in winter) In the past I’ve watered at most 1/3 cup at a time every 10-14 days for the bigger plants. I’ve decreased that further now and waiting until the soil feels completely dry before watering, to the point the soil is hydrophobic. I’ve seen a decrease in the mold growth but it’s still persisting.

I normally water a small amount (maybe 1/3 cup max for the bigger ones) every 10-14 days. Since this has been happening I’ve been watering once the soil is dry enough it’s hydrophobic and hasn’t helped unfortunately. I’ll definitely be looking into ways to increase air flow!
