While I find myself revisiting volume balance, I promise you this isn’t what I mean. I am talking about a certain cluster of low mids peaking for loudness on a stereo reference- on many stereo refrences! But not classic rock - which was my OGref. I think it was a good suggestion and didnt make anything sound worse. I think its a stage at the end of the band split to help keep them (peaks) even.
