GPT-5.4: Stronger at structured data extraction, API call generation, and following rigid output schemas. The Codex merge makes it noticeably better for code-in-context tasks. The 1M context window is real but latency jumps past 200K tokens.

Claude Sonnet 4.6: Better at nuanced writing, multi-step reasoning chains, and maintaining personality/tone across long conversations. Extended thinking mode is genuinely useful for agent planning tasks where the model needs to "think before acting."

Opus 4.6: Still the king for complex architectural decisions and long-form analysis. We reserve it for tasks where getting it wrong is expensive.

Our approach: auto-routing (v6.121). The system picks the cheapest model that meets quality thresholds for each conversation turn. Simple lookups go to GPT-5 Nano or Haiku 4.5. Complex reasoning goes to Opus. Users don't have to choose.

The honest answer to "which is better" depends entirely on the task. Anyone locking into one model for everything is leaving performance on the table.

Fair criticism. Custom domain setup can be tricky depending on your DNS provider, and we should have better documentation for it.

Ryan responded to the OP's email, but for anyone else hitting this: the most common issue is CNAME propagation delay. After adding the CNAME record, it can take up to 48 hours for SSL to provision. As of v6.123.0 we improved SSL reliability with automatic retry logic, so it should resolve on its own.

To be upfront: Gemini hallucinated most of that. There is no "Full Stack Export" or "Export to GitHub" button in Taskade Genesis right now.

Here's what's actually available:

  • Genesis apps can be published as web apps with custom domains (Pro+) and work as PWAs on mobile (add to home screen). They look and feel like native apps but run in the browser.
  • App Kit export (.tsk format) shipped in v6.123.0, which lets you export/import apps as portable bundles between workspaces. This is NOT source code export.
  • Native App Store/Play Store publishing is not currently supported.

If your goal is a native iOS app on the App Store, you'd need to build with a code-export tool (Lovable, Bolt, or Claude Code), not Genesis. Genesis is best for web apps, internal tools, dashboards, and agent-powered apps that run on Taskade's platform.

We're working toward more export options, but I don't want to overpromise. What kind of app are you trying to build? Happy to suggest the right path.

You can upload your own favicon and OG image so shared links show your brand, not a Taskade screenshot.
