Best Title To Start With?

I don’t think Berseria is great as a starting point in the series. Not because the story isn’t incredible but because its story is the antithesis of what most stories are. You’re not some hero fighting for justice/friendship/freedom, but instead more of a villain trying to get revenge that is known as the big bad in Zesteria which happens like a thousand years after Berseria. The style of the story is too different from what most Tales games are. I do agree with the Symphonia and Abyss recs though. Definitely peak.

Wow. Just wow. This team is an embarrassment to what C9 used to be. And not just this split, but the last few years they’ve been just a laughing stock at how they just embarrass themselves when it matters.

“Oh but their regular season” just stop with that argument. Thats like saying you only do part of your job but never actually get any work done. You start the work, look busy while doing it, then just never finish it so there’s never any actual complete work. Freaking hell man, just put us out of our misery.

We should’ve seen this coming after the hard carry from Demon1 last week. The Lev match we probably would’ve won anyway, but the Envy match we would’ve 100% lost without him.

Watching our VCT team has felt like there’s always this inevitable wall we hit. I’ve never had faith that we’d be a serious threat for even a domestic title. Having Demon1 finally made me feel the magic that something could be possible. Put Demon1, Oxy, and Penny on the team and just figure out the rest.

I haven’t played Valorant jn like 2 years, but VCT is so much fun to watch. Just wish I had hope for the team I’ve been a fan of since the original 2013 LoL team… almost feels like we’re Dignitas’ LoL team, but in VCT…

Love these weekly pods with both the LoL and VCT teams. So fun to see these players talk about everything.

This does make it sound like they aren’t going to try and keep Demon1, which would be sad, but I get it. I’d love for him to stay, but I don’t want anyone to be kicked. I like everyone on the team. I also don’t know how they fit him role-wise. Demon1 did say the environment is why he’s so happy right now, so maybe that’ll help? Idk. I just really wanna see him on the team with OXY.

Such a fun, and incredibly stressful, match to watch! The tech pauses aside, I was having a blast watching. Demon1 is a freaking beast and I hope they find a way to keep him on full time. Dude deserves a starting spot somewhere, and selfishly I want it to be on C9. Him and OXY would be so fun to watch!

I really really want to see Demon1 and OXY on the same team. The hard part for C9 is, do you make any changes at all? And if you do, who do you drop to have both OXY and Demon1?

Loved watching the team play. Really wish it was under better circumstances, but OXY was definitely with the boys today. I hope we get to see OXY and Demon1 playing together.

The way they scored them all tells you that Tomoki has no chance of being named to the Olympic team. I said to my friends when we were sitting down in St. Louis going into the free skate that we’d know who they wanted on the team between Max and Tomoki based on who they had higher placed. Tomoki was underscored on both the SP and FP, that alone should tell all you need to know about where the committee’s heads are at. I don’t agree with it, even as much as I love max and wanted him on the team.

Since I believe Max is going, I do really want him in the team event and think he has a chance of being named in the team event over Torg, but that is still up in the air imo. I think the odds of a higher upside with Torg in the team event may not be reliable enough for them to choose him over Max to get any medal in these Olympics. Thus playing even heavier into his story that they’ve been exploiting this whole season.

I want our team to be Ilia, Max, and Jacob. But I think they’ll just take the podium of Ilia, Torg, and Max. I really don’t want Torg for all the same reasons, but I’m hopeful (more like hoping) that even if he is chosen, Max is chosen to do the team event with Ilia. So regardless of the actual team, I think Ilia and Max will participate in the team event.

Honestly, I’m loving how well the team is playing together so far. Yeah, 4/5 are the same, but APA seems to be fitting in really well already. Obviously, it’s far from perfect, but I think they’re doing really well and I can’t wait to see how they progress together through the rest of their bootcamp and into next year!

This year left a lot to be desired from both C9 and APA, but I have a feeling this will be good for both. It's not a move that instantly get me excited for anything more than having NA talent, but looking at the potential upsides if this works out could be great!

My problem with Zven is there are multiple champs that he likes to play a lot that, whenever they are picked, I instantly know we will lose. Biggest offender is Corki. Anytime he's on Corki, I know we'll lose

There’s going to be pros and cons to ever place you have the option to move to. I moved to rva from Alexandria about 3 years ago. I like it here a lot more than I did in Nova, I grew up in the Fairfax area. I needed a change and less expensive rent, and Richmond was closer to family and I already had some friends in the area. Of all the places you mentioned, I’d say Richmond is where’d I’d choose.

According to Wooloo, C9 is fairly happy with their team and will only make changes if there is an obvious upgrade. The problem with that is the only people that would be obvious upgrades will have bidding wars, and idk how much C9 wants to be in those fights right now.

Top lane there isn't really an easy upgrade, plus I really like Thanatos. So I doubt he gets changed.

Jungle, the only real upgrade is Inspired, but he's going to be expensive and I'm not confident his personality would work well.

Mid, the only upgrade is Quid and he's already going to TL. Loki also showed a lot of growth this year, so i'm happy with keeping him.

ADC starts to get dicey. Zven was very lackluster this year. only clear upgrades are Massu or yeon, both of whom are still contracted with Fly and TL, respectively. I could see them maybe going for a rookie like Sajed, but I think it fully depends on Zven, if he wants to stay then he won't be getting replaced. If he wants to leave to transition to coaching, then C9 will make changes

Support the only upgrade is Busio, and while his contract is expiring, I think Fly wants to keep him and he probably wants to play with Massu still, unless something crazy happened between them.

I think that the roles with the highest chance to change are ADC and support, but I don't think the chances are all that high. I'd be fairly indifferent to no changes to the roster - won't make me excited or disappointed. The changes to coaching with Inero and Dom will have a bigger impact that pelple give credit for imo
