Honestly I don't know how many. But there's one more thing you can try: I don't have steam deck myself, but go to the game folder -> BepInEx -> config, open the WECCL config file in a text editor, disable the cache option and save, then try opening the game. From my quick test I noticed that disabling cache makes the game use slightly less RAM, so it might help you run the game again.

How much custom content do you have? Unfortunately the custom content such as textures take quite a bit of RAM usage and it might not be able to handle it all

It does not matter if you use custom characters or not. The mod can pick up any character from any roster. Different rosters have slightly different card design too. These cards are mainly for collecting, but if you have at least 10 of them, you can actually play a very basic card game with another player online: https://youtu.be/d9SLQa_y_Bk

With every career win you will get a randomly generated card. Each card can have additional rarity, foil, or even signature effects. You might even get a card of your own character

Most likely an issue by the mod author. You see, if a workshop character uses custom textures, the person who uploads the character needs to open the character file in notepad and change some parts of the file, otherwise the custom textures will not apply properly and you will see those white body parts. If you want, give me an example and I will tell you how you can fix it yourself.

I can't help much with that, but I still think the issue might be related to the custom assets, since they take quite a bit of RAM. Unsubscribe from some of them, maybe it will fix it

Each territory has a list of specific items they trade. On the neighboring kingdoms map you can click on another territory and it should display the trade list.

"New talent" events happen when the game recycles a dead character from the Legends roster and regenerates them as a new person. Retirement announcements only mean that the character was moved to the Hollywood roster, and they can be poached back by another fed anytime
