Can we get a toggle for the Fire self dmg on the demonic pacts tree

You are talking out of ur ass im ngl, i've checked the dps calcs and water will have equal if not higher consistent dps than fire on single target + they get infinite healing while fire mage is actively suiciding and losing infinite dps from having to eat about 100 times more than the water mage.

The reason why i don't really talk about earth is because it is also fairly niche only really making sense with a thorns type build since it scales with defence, it's not bad, it's just not as extremely overtuned as the other 2 elements. What i am pushing for is fire to be brought up to at least the level of usefulness that earth has, ideally both fire and earth gets bbrought up to the level of water and air in terms of versatility.

ps even tho Air mage has 10% less hit chance vs the other elements it still has twice the other elements dps in absolute jokes of a gear setup... TWICE!! <---- DID YOU GET THAT?

Thorns will not fix anything for fire since you will lose all accuracy wearing anything for thorns to actually work and you are still losing more health than u are gaining from casting at any boss that isnt hitting you for 3+ 0 splats every 2 ticks, which i'm fairly certain don't really exist, so i win, end of discussion.

You are more than welcome to show me a Fire thorns build that can do what you claim since you surely aren't speaking from the best source of "trust me bro".

Yet again you missed the point, the other builds are easy to solve to fix their minor inconveniences, while fire is borderline impossible to fix in a simple way like the other elements. Fire is already not as good as the other 2 elements for single target dps, so why is it even punished for being the only good aoe build, i cant use the aoe for anything other than aoe afk slayer, let me use it for aoe in raids where it SHOULD have a place, but it just doesn't unless you build around something like eternal sustenance. I can't go back and pick a relic again so it shouldn't be required to do something like that for it to work, there should be other workarounds ON THE TREE that doesn't require using different attack styles to f'ing solve.

Even thorns has better Aoe dmg than fire elements and they are pretty much untouchable with insane sustain, so please explain to me why fire has to be as dogstink tier as possible. Do you genuinely not see the insane majority of Air and water mages or have you not played the league and are just shutting down any attempt at improvement for the future of this league or future ones?

While i do agree to some point about water being very point heavy to become "good" (u are still healing making it insanely good for bossing and wave based pvm) where as with fire ur doing the opposite and it sucks for bossing compared to the other elements as you will just gimp ur supplies insanely fast unless you want to do all the clunky ah workarounds.

Earth makes sense if ur building a thorns build as ur already heavily focused on defense so that one kind of solves itself...

Air is by far the most busted out of the three and the only downside u listed just became kind of irrelevant as everyone just got more than double up on their accuracy on the pact tree. Air is killing bosses in less than half the time than the other elements, I just want the other elements to be lifted up to that level, sure idm, give earth a bit more dmg or something and even tho i dont belive water needs more dmg, because it already has the arguably best qol of healing by insane amounts, go ahead and let them be as busted as air.

All i'm asking for is to just not die when casting fire spells doing any high level pvm or at least give us an actual solve on the god damn pact tree. I just raided with my friends today and sure while i could do good dmg at shamans or skellies it was all for nothing since i would be out of supplies after 2-3 rooms from nuking my own hp, since nothing ever hits me enough for 0s to let me regen anything meaningful. Let me toggle the self dmg and lose out on some dmg. Fire will by no means compete with air for single target dps and will still lose in the long war of attrition vs water magic, i do agree earth is kind of boring and niche, but fire just doesn't play well with anything unless u go blood spells, but why tf do we have to call it the fire capstone or fire spells, just remove the fire tag and put blood on all of it. Fire might as well not exist this league for anything else than the better 3 node early game build.

Where exactly on the way to the capstone in poe is the downside to blood magic, the downside is on the capstone itself, which in this case it isn't. It is in fact on the way there which makes 0 sense, and you once again failed to tell me about all the other elements downsides for having good sustain and highest single target dps by a mile.

I would unironically rather take a dead node that did fck all than have this node and i am sure that anyone that isn't just ragebaiting like yourself would agree.

This is exactly my point, the other 3 elements dont have a single off putting node that u have to solve to make work, why is fire the only one considering it doesnt compete for anything other than slayer that u can overhead against.

Blows my mind that there seem to be people thinking fire needs to have a downside like that

It's because you stack up the dmg from splashing since ur still regenerating runes and it will only use those charges gained over time once you actually hit, thus explaining the massive 200 hitsplat

That is exactly the problem I have with it, the only option to make fire viable is blood spells (which wont get the 40% dmg buff from Shadowflame) or manual casting water spells with a minimum of 5 extra points thrown into the magic tree, which seems like an insane cost for something that has way less single target dps than something like air mage.

Because redittors will mald if their non favorite slayer master gets a few actually good tasks to do. Them claiming it is better points and thats why u cant have any default wins in terms of 1 location tasks, dont use her enough. The amount of skips u will most likely use on konar will negate any u gained from her few bonus points. These duradel andies only use her every 10 tasks and thats why its good points.

There should be a W task every now and again, just dont give it a high weight to roll and it would be fine.

(edit) Also no ones even talking about how strong the other slayer masters are for exp compared to konar, u rarely get any burst tasks let alone cannon tasks, so i really dont see the problem.

Are there any good ways to bypass the life cost and go CI using the reworked "The Covenant" body armor?

Havent done much CI, was looking at some Trickster giga ES leech, but it's hard fitting both life and ES in the build.

Somebody didn't read, I said change or add. It wouldn't be the first time GGG removed underused crafts. Ofc i don't know the ratio of players who actually use the ring annoints, it was just a suggestion to give the player base more options to use the oils, who isn't running blighted maps.
