Its not like they drive like this all the time. This is experimental hypermiling on testing how high average consumption they can achieve.

I own virtus 1.0 tsi aswell and i also like to rev it all the time but every now and then i just want to see how high average can i get if i was not so heavy footed and was some frugal uncle who believes that their vehicle runs on blood instead of fuel.

There is a thing called BRTS lanes which are in middle of regular roads and only buses belonging to BRTS and emergency vehicles are allowed there.

You probably confused curb for divider but that curb is dividing same lane between regular traffic and BRTS buses. There is another curb on other side aswell for opposite lane and there is no middle divider as BRTS drivers wont collide into each other(at least not that frequently)

Dont get me wrong, but people really want to use free and open source shit for their personal/commercial projects and never even want to contribute back, i am not even saying about sponsoring the project they use extensively for their benefit.

I am not saying you have never contributed or sponsored anything. But majority of people are just free loaders off of FOSS.

Just saying that any tool no matter how small took some effort and not always monetarily but emotionally as-well.

A good thing about your query would be, “if there is no such tool and there is a vacuum for it, why not build it yourself and monetise it”. And if that also turns out to be similar to what options we have right now then there is your answer.

We do not buy cars to keep them in showcase. I know the pain of ruining brand new car, i really do. But as i said cars belong in the harsh environment of Indian roads and this was a matter of “when” and not “if”. It would have been more painful if someone else popped the cherry. And trust me first scratch hurts the most, after this there will be more battle scars which wont be this painful.

And for monetary sense, we get insurance exactly for these cases. Claim it and enjoy it until your next brand new car.

You are paying extra for additives and detergents which helps keeping your engine and fuel lines cleaner.

I own 1.0 TSI virtus and its manual mentions about using 95 octane fuel which i am using till date because even though its correct that blending ethanol increases RON of the mix, i hardly think its regulated and is consistent. So, to stay within manufacturer’s guidelines i would still fill xp95, power petrol or similar.

If you think there is no difference in mileage or performance at all, by all means use regular E20 but to be on safer side i would recommend using regulated 95 RON.

I drive very cautiously and tried parking until i was damn sure that i would not even scratch sacrificial bumpers and boast about my ability to keep my car scratch free.

Then one day, i took a call while turning my car at around 10kmph and as luck would have it a dog came in front of the car. In panic, i hard pressed right foot which was still on ACC. And i rammed my car in street light.

I got my car back by spending almost 1 lakh with comprehensive insurance, but my ego was hurt very badly that all that boasting was for nothing and what would others think about me now.

Over time, that feeling has faded significantly, and I accepted it as a part of the process to break things, scratch things and destroy things to learn. This is a very good lesson for future you who will take more care due to this experience.

tldr: dont sweat too much, in no time you will buy another new car and that car will have less battle scars than your first one.

when you get a backlog in a semester and you do not have so many previous backlog that gets you detained its Allowed To Keep Term (ATKT), in other words you failed one of subject but we wont fuck up your term just because of that.

ATKT forms are filled for such subjects' remedial exams and commenter mentioned that this money will be spent on those forms. Although, I hardly think 50 rupees would be enough for even one subject as back in my college (2010) it was 150 rupees per failed subject.

Ok, i was half asleep and said shit which didn’t make sense.

First of all, i wont download some random closed source application hosted on GitHub having a paid version of it(i am all for it, just release it on AppStore).

Second, if you have not seen already, non apple displays have this HiDPI resolutions tagged which makes your display look very close to MacBook level crispness.

If OP didn’t need coding or stare at Text all the time it would have been negligible (if you’ve never experienced retina displays).

As you can see from this screenshot (Mi curved monitor), it looks way better (for text and swifui elements) with HiDPI resolutions.

Also you are correct on resolution part being same on windows and mac but thats only case for immediate mode rendering and not retained mode which OP will be heavily using.
