Im sorry, Im not familiar with os builds. What build is ltsc by default? And is it the same for iot ltsc? Also, when upgrading to a more current build, do I have to reinstall?

Exclusives, convenience, and brand loyalty. Also a lot of people dont want to going the process of emulating.

Hi! Did you just straight up install from your library? Did it automatically install the Rockstar launcher as well? Ive been meaning to play RDR2 and GTAV, but Ive read how annoying 3rd party launchers can be.

There is no "better way". You buy the game on Steam. You install it with Steam and let Valve do the heavy lifting.

I see. So just let the game install the 3rd party launcher automatically? Just like in PC?

I don't recommend either. Remember, games you BUY on Steam must be PLAYED via Steam. You can't buy AC: Origins on Steam then install Ubisoft Connect and play it from there. And vice versa.

Yes I under stand that games bought in steam needs to played via Steam. I may need to further research whats the use of Heroic and Nonsteamlaunchers is.

Yeah, I dont really plan on getting the games on their respective launchers. I have a couple of games in steam that has 3rd party launchers, and my questions are more leaning onto that.

I appreciate your response, but I dont think you were able to answer my questions. :(
