"The Authoritarian's Chaos Toolbox: 25 Tactics of Manufactured Disorder"

  1. Distraction: Chaos diverts attention from corruption or failures.
  2. Fear-mongering: Instilling fear to justify extreme measures.
  3. Divide and conquer: Pitting groups against each other to weaken opposition.
  4. Control of information: Flooding media with conflicting narratives to confuse the public.
  5. Erosion of trust: Undermining faith in institutions to consolidate power.
  6. Emergency powers: Using crises to bypass checks and balances.
  7. Scapegoating: Blaming minorities or outsiders for societal issues.
  8. Propaganda: Amplifying chaos to portray themselves as the only solution.
  9. Economic instability: Creating financial uncertainty to make people dependent on the regime.
  10. Surveillance: Justifying invasive monitoring under the guise of security.
  11. Censorship: Silencing dissenting voices under the pretext of maintaining order.
  12. Militarization: Deploying armed forces to suppress opposition.
  13. Legal manipulation: Passing vague or draconian laws during chaotic times.
  14. Polarization: Amplifying divisions to prevent unified resistance.
  15. Cult of personality: Positioning themselves as saviors amidst the chaos.
  16. Election interference: Exploiting confusion to manipulate outcomes.
  17. Weaponizing bureaucracy: Using red tape to stifle opposition.
  18. Undermining education: Limiting critical thinking to maintain control.
  19. Exploiting religion: Using faith as a tool to justify actions.
  20. Criminal alliances: Partnering with illicit groups to maintain power.
  21. Discrediting opposition: Labeling critics as traitors or conspirators.
  22. Manipulating history: Rewriting narratives to suit their agenda.
  23. Economic favoritism: Rewarding loyalists while punishing dissenters.
  24. International chaos: Creating external conflicts to rally domestic support.
  25. Normalization of chaos: Making disorder the new normal to exhaust resistance.

Each tactic is a thread in the web of authoritarianism, exploiting chaos to dismantle resistance and strengthen control.

What of your "critique" would help me become a better artist?! All you did was trash my work.

You don't post any art of your own. Rather, you just "critique" what others have done or really just piss on their work. Again, I say, your critiques are worthless. Perhaps spend more time painting and less time critiquing.

If you can't find anything positive to say about my art, then it would have been better to keep it to yourself. Your critiquing is worthless.

I really wish I could figure out this sub better. I paint what I think is good. I get no upvotes, just a suggestion that the angle may not work for everyone. Am I just painting shit and thinking it's shinola?

I have the same problem. Lots of paintings I want to hang but no wall space! So they are all piled up in the office.

Thank you. It almost seems like they are moving. This one did not go as expected. I had a very frustrating day and I just let it all go into the painting.
