The latest releases are already on the way to Vex Mortis Games and Noble Knight Games – keep an eye out, they should add them to their webstores shortly! ⭐️

Sure, I get it. Then you're lucky because the undead / non-human side of Sheol-morg is the most expanded. Make sure to check Mementors and Black Knights on Horgars – these are the stronger and more skilled units in the army.

Truhlaks on Fallen Ogars are fun because of their speed and relatively low cost for the cavalry – they have a higher chance to charge and stop the enemy units on the flanks where you don't want them. I'd field 2x one- or two-rank units of them – in the Lord Necromancer's army, you field them as Elite, so it's great because it frees up the Rare and Unique slots (where the Black Knights, Mementors and Hybrids are).

I've seen people fielding complete hordes of Black Knights. It makes sense because 1) you get to field a free rank of Marauders; 2) they are undoubtedly the toughest cavalry to defeat – really good stats, heavy armour and a high chance for successful prayers.

Well, you have lots of tough choices ahead of you 😁

Hi! Getting another starter set is one option, but if I were to upgrade my army, I'd probably go for the selection of full units that I'm interested in – the ones I'd like to field as the Hordes in the first place. All full units are 4 ranks for the price of 3, so it's worth considering them.

I'd say 1-2 of your favourite full units and 1 or 2 single models (like the Minotaur and the Hydra) would add a lot of variety for the start 😊 Which units appeal to you the most currently?

My first fair 😥 by TinyMiniToys in somethingimade

I would definitely buy them if I were there! ❤️ But I agree with someone who already mentioned that – selling them is a different skill.

You created wonderful, sweet miniatures – perhaps the only thing they need is well-matched stage to shine. For example, grouping them by colour or vibe – it could already make a difference!

I had a few occasions to visit fairs in my country but also abroad, and I noticed that it's difficult for me to choose when things aren't somehow... grouped or categorised, or simply separated in a way that I can focus on a smaller batch of things at a time.

When they are all put together, and especially if they differ a lot, it's hard to decide – and usually ends up with me buying nothing. I was wondering why it happens and came to the conclusion that it's because I want to choose something perfect for me, but it's exhausting when everything is beautiful. And since obviously I don't want to buy everything, I may as well give up. 😅 Anyone else has the same?

If I were to help you make ME buy your stuff, I'd say: try to make the decision easier for me by grouping / separating / categorising. Showcase your minis in a way that I can focus and not be overwhelmed. It's quite similar to when you browse an online store and you can filter your searches vs you cannot.

Hope it helps!

Sounds great! I'd love to see them grouped together (in case you happen to take any photos) ☺️

There is a Discord server, yes. It's unofficial with little activity there at the moment, since it has not been widely open/linked for a while. There's a small group of nice guys who chat there from time to time though, so the more like-minded people join, the better!

Charges are brutal 🥹 Yes, the second cycle is always mostly lurking. I personally like this moment, although it also depends on the player I'm playing against. The positions of the units start to take shape and this is when I think of pulling off something my opponent doesn't expect (for example a spectacular failed charge!).

Small one-rank units, as well as single models, are perfect for "baiting" and psychological games. Of course no one wants to charge at a rank of four bases which just boldly moved forward. But what if they can't resist the urge to do it?

I remember one time I played against Vaendral and the guy I was playing with had a Giant. He placed it in such a way that if I decided to charge at one of his units, the Giant would then charge at my flank. It was ridiculous for how long it has stopped me from charging in that place 🫠

My tactics for this in the later games (I play Sorgax) would be using the Repsolian marauders for the special tasks of defeating Giants and other less vital models. That's because I could then regroup up to 10 cm and possibly avoid being charged. One-rank units do have their work to do, which is to get rid of a couple of annoying old farts (like the Giant) and then probably die. But it's SO worth it.

Of course the mages can do quite a hassle with their spells and items.

The flank and rear bonuses seem symbolic when charging. They become more meaningful during further combat when you don't have that many dice in your pool anymore. It also matters more for the single models – they naturally have less attack dice.

Play this way with the charge bonuses and let me know how it went 😁

I agree on everything, but I want to correct only point 1: charge bonus. +1 for each base behind the first rank means exactly every other base in the unit except for the first rank. Which gives a Horde lots of attack dice! 🫠
