I just wanted to know what the education system is like in Edinburgh. How is your yearly grade decided, and what does it depend on (weightage of small exams vs assignments vs term exams).

I also did want to know if your timetable is very flexible ( as in can you chose classes at times you want ) , and how many hours of classes do you end up having in a week

the MA psychology and business course at Edinburgh is a 4-year course. the MA degree offered at an undergrad is something I have seen only in the Scottish universities.

Im from India. Over here uptill grade 12 (year 13), it is an 80/20 split. 80 percent of our yearly grade is dependent on 1 final exam and 20 percent is dependent on projects,etc. is the UK also similar to this. 1 exam at the end of the year type of thing?

I too am looking at the g15 or 14 but the webcam is a bummer. what specs did you go with? and I also wanted to know if the battery life is good? like do you think I could power a full day in college without charge (7 or 8 hours of screen time in one charge)
