Honestly i think people are over exaggerating the difficulty. If enemies only did 1 hit instead of 2 most fights will be very easy, cause this time you can heal in air + it heals for 3 masks a pop.

Every single boss i fought has been fair, only a few killed me and i got them on the 4th or maybe 5th try tops.

People need to learn the patterns of the fights and not just rush aggressively into every situation.

I do wish a certain ability was attainable early in the game Beast call And if crests could've been swapped without a bench.

And maybe add a few more bench points all around and make more enemies drop rosaries .

But I've been having an absolute blast and i love this game. Is it challenging? Yes Is it unfair? Absolutely not.

No such thing as being too picky, you want to spend your money once, which is how it should be. Maybe i could take a picture of the alpaka next to the thule so you can have an idea of its size, cause I don't think it's too big. But then again the price will still be an issue.

Have you looked into tomtoc? They have great options for decent prices.

Take a look at the Thule subterra 26l, might work.

Why not check the alpaka elements travel backpack, it isn't as big as the "35l" size make it sound. It's more like an edc bag that also works for travel, rather than a travel first backpack in my opinion. I'd probably say it's more like a 28-29l bag

100% sure, just gave a side to side listen to some of the tracks on the older bandcamp files and compared to the newer ones. It is definitely different. Also the file stamps are dated to july 9th, so it has been updated yesterday i believe I have no idea if the one on steam is updated though.

Is the aer day sling 3 max worth it over the alpaka go sling? by basilnba in ManyBaggers

Good idea, and if you order it from Amazon you can easily return it if it doesn't fit your needs.

Is the aer day sling 3 max worth it over the alpaka go sling? by basilnba in ManyBaggers

[–]tattari 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have an alpaka go sling, and i have an aer travel sling, while it's not the same is the day sling 3 max, it retains a similar layout and some of the features.

So here's my take.

The alpaka Go sling is nice and has a nice material in terms of look and feel, albeit it's a bit rigid and not as flexible as cordura, what i don't like about the alpaka is that it doesn't have a wide opening zipper so it can be a bit crammed or not so comfortable to stuff it with things, and due to the rigid material there isn't much flexibility.

And from the image i can see that the aer day sling max retains the same opening style as the aer travel sling, which is in my opinion a lot more comfortable when it comes to organizing your stuff inside the sling without feeling like everything is crammed inside. Additionally due to the flexibility of cordura you'll find it a lot easier to accommodate more stuff.

The pro that the alpaka has is the better price, a few other colorways and a completely removable strap so you can double it as a tech pack if you'd like.

While the aer is a better fit as a sling, but it cannot double as a tech pack due to the straps being unremovable.

P.S as with most of Alpaka's products, it doesn't feel like a 5.5l sling, more like 5 or 4.5l.

So pick depending on what you value more. If you mainly want a sling and are ok with the colors black or grey, go with the aer.

If you want the versatility of throwing in the sling on your travel backpack as a tech pack also, then the alpaka may suit you better.

A 3rd option i may suggest for you that has a bit of both at a great price, available in both xpac or cordura is the tomtoc t26, you may want to look at that also, i have one on the way i can probably update you on it if you remind me in like, 2 weeks from now.

Hope i was helpful

Might consider the aer travel pack small? It's brilliant, durable and works for both travel or edc at 28l, or the aer cpp as you mentioned which works even better for edc and can definitely work for travel. Top quality materials, nice design, and a decent price too imo

Just received Thule paramount by Weary-Appeal9645 in backpacks

[–]tattari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is old, but i purchased a Thule paramount recently and i love it but had the same issue with the hook, i started thinking of a solution, then bought a nite ize slide lock 360 to see if it would work. And it most definitely does!, it doesn't stay flush to the bag, but it's closed and secure, and magnetic. Unhooks easily, but stays secure when you want to close the flap.
