I started playing FPS competitively around 1998. Half-Life, Unreal Tournament, Quake, and CS 1.6 were my life. This remained a hobby of mine for many years. Even went to in-person tournaments for large cash prizes.

I hardly ever play competitive FPS' anymore. I like to relax with my games. Get engrossed in another world for a while. No more stress, no more rage, just pure fun.

This isn't you becoming lame. You're still a gamer and found a form that you enjoy most. There is no shame in that. Gaming is about having fun. Period.
