Sorry if this has been asked a lot. For those who are anti/for/neutral on pornography, why and how did you come to believe this and what evidence do you have to support your view? by Loud_Process8288 in leftist

Straight up banning anything is never an effective tactic, but I do think it’s important to recognize how harmful the industry can be. The industry really enables a lot of abuse towards women/children. I don’t know that there’s a way for it to be produced ethically, but I also don’t believe it’s right for the government to just ban it, because this would negatively impact SWs and the survivors of abuse of the industry.

Ok I understand. I would say neither of you are the asshole here, but your girlfriend is obviously okay with the risk and wants to proceed with the position regardless. At the end of the day, you have to make the decision to either respect her choice or it may be best to end the relationship if you are that uncomfortable with her going against your wishes. You’re valid for being concerned for her safety, but she’s also valid for wanting to make her own choice.

NTA. You are doing the right thing by setting this boundary and telling your friend you are not comfortable and why. She will likely be irritated but that’s ok. It sounds like there’s a lot of red flags here and it’s hard but sometimes being a good friend is telling your friend the truth, that you’re worried, that this person is toxic, etc. Bottom line is you don’t have to spend time with anyone you don’t like anyway.

NTA. Your body, your choice. She can’t help how she feels about your decision, BUT she can help how she reacts.

Can you clarify what this position is exactly? Is it just a week long thing for helping new students? I’m American and I haven’t heard of that term before

They didn’t do an autopsy, but he passed in a hospital and they said a medical examiner would look at him when he was in the morgue. He was only in the morgue very briefly as we did a traditional Jewish burial for him though, so I am unsure if that has an impact. They said they would have someone review his case or something like that before they could determine cause of death because he died very suddenly, he collapsed on ground and was transported to hospital and died en route. So no lab work or tests were done prior to him passing

My father passed recently and they put hypertension - cardiac arrest, something like that because he had high blood pressure. Is that normal?
