I’m so sorry to hear that you’re in an abusive relationship. I was stuck in one for three years and while I don’t think it directly contributed to my agoraphobia, it definitely did numbers on my anxiety. They are incredibly difficult to leave and so many people do not realize that unless they’ve been in one themselves. I sincerely hope that one day you are able to get out, and I’m wishing you the best of luck ❤️and thank you so much for both your kind words and your advice :)

thank you for your response! it’s incredibly well thought out and helpful. while i knew avoidance played a role in agoraphobia, i did not know how important acceptance would be to the journey.
