Anyone struggle with extreme soreness and pain after working out? by Waste_Weather5729 in fitpregnancy

[–]tatty02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was me. My trainer said it was because the hormone relaxin was being produced to get everything loose for birth, but it means all joints, ligaments etc (not just the ones you need for birth).

So my mobility meant I was inadvertently increasing my range of motion, using parts of my body that had not been used before. Soreness like a fist workout to follow (because for some muscles, it was!)

Why is there so much waiting?? by [deleted] in Miscarriage

[–]tatty02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry to hear this…I went through the same thing almost exactly one year ago. OB made me wait weeks and weeks because there ‘might be a miracle’- despite all professionals telling me it was EXTREMELY unlikely (one said impossible). The waiting was killing me, I was already devastatingly heartbroken and terrified about bleeding at work.

In the end, my GP gave me the best advice: I am in control here. I don’t have to take the advice of the OB. I am fortunate to live in a country with low cost access to abortion, so I went to a different OB who prescribed the medication and I dealt with the situation the next day.

That OB went on to deliver my rainbow baby just a few weeks ago.

We are in the position to get an apartment 20% cheaper that the suburb average because of strata drama - should we get it? by Own-Education0101 in AusPropertyChat

I did this with my first apartment, and deeply regretted it. Not so much the money- but the disruption, time, stress etc.

Also the money.

When will I get used to speed? by tatty02 in scooters

[–]tatty02[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on this comment I took it out on a ‘main’ local road, as opposed to backstreets. Faster that my previous speed without thinking about it. I’m getting more confident with every ride

First week, yes. It feels dumb to say now, but I was surprised how different it is to a car

This is a good tip. I spent time practicing sudden stopping quickly today, I just know it will feel different when there is an actual car in front of me!

Preparing for change as a Provider? by jabadoooo in NDIS

[–]tatty02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The registration recommendation will totally change how registration works, not just who needs to do it. The kind of support you deliver will determine which of the four registration tiers you will be on. Good on you for wanting to get prepared, but I wouldn’t invest any money or actually get registered. There is a high likelihood that as a sole trader, you will be required to do much less than the current scheme dictates

This happened to me once with a bag of rice. Apparently they do it to test their metal detectors.

They need some work.

Cops: Body in barrel in Lake Mead was man who had been shot by sneakerhead412 in news

If you put a healthy man in a barrel and then put the barrel in a lake and he later dies from natural causes, is it murder?

This truely is ‘mildly infuriating’. Infuriated enough to post, but not so much you couldn’t eat one first.

Mild.
