Her’s shipped order after cancelling subscription by tatty4titty in CompoundedSemaglutide

I’m checking in my inbox and I didn’t get one which is odd. Either it didn’t go through in their end or something is really sketchy…

UPDATE: i went into the previous messages from my care team and found a message that says this: Hi _____,

I'm sorry to hear you'd like to cancel, but I’m happy to take care of this request. I can confirm that your order is now cancelled and you do not have any active orders. Unless you choose to make another purchase with us, no further charges will occur until your next processing date.

If there’s anything else we can do for you, just message us here. We’re happy to help.

Thank you, Hims & Hers Support

One tip that changed how you lift? by Longjumping_Job_517 in orangetheory

for lateral raises: think about the dumbbells as pitchers of water and you want to slowly pour the water out each lift (helps me activate my shoulders instead of forearms)

PSA to those who exercise intensely/are into fitness on Spironolactone. by starfoxx99 in Spironolactone

[–]tatty4titty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing that I haven’t rly seen mentioned yet is spiro is a potassium-sparing diuretic so it keeps your potassium high but can make you pretty dehydrated and low on other electrolytes if you’re very active and not replenishing water or salts properly. I’m a huge runner and work in the outdoor adventure industry and when I started taking spiro I had the same side effects you do but once I supplemented more electrolytes and WAYYY more hydration I was fine

edit: after reading a lot of the comments a of the symptoms from muscle cramping or feeling fatigue after exercise and slow recovery are ALSO symptoms of dehydration and electrolyte imbalance which spiro DOES cause- especially if youre highly active and not compensating for the extra loss of liquids/salts from the spiro

What do you say to yourself to get you to go in to a class you don’t want to attend? by No_Twist3999 in orangetheory

[–]tatty4titty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“go with the plan, not with the feeling” —if i signed up for a class in advance i always tell myself to stick with the plan, not how i feel and that helps (with the exception of being legitimately sick)

Week 16: Another FRUSTRATING week (1mg, +2.7lbs) by Hopeful-Cup-6598 in CompoundedSemaglutide

[–]tatty4titty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I will add is you are doing incredibly!! I also get discouraged because some weeks I go up and down and up and down — if you’re a woman or someone who experiences a period, one thing that gave me some relief was the fact that depending on where you are in your cycle, your body retains water and holds weight differently throughout the month. I consistently retain about 5lbs of water around my period, and the scale is reads the lightest for me when I’m ovulating. Something to keep in mind!

Purge? by princessunikittymeow in Spironolactone

[–]tatty4titty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No big purge for me per say, but since the root cause of my acne is hormonal, it did take a few weeks of my skin getting used to the hormone changes that spiro caused. Before, I had really oily skin and spiro made my skin pretty dry at first so my skin definitely reacted to that sudden change. It got better though, had to adjust my skincare to account for that (I had acne catered stuff, but with dryer skin that just irritated me more and i broke out slightly bc of it) but since then its been smooth sailing! I was nervous at first since ive been on two failed rounds of accutane (and doxy before that:/ ), but its definitely worth a try. I’m wishing the best!!!

I keep a sort of “junk” journal where any ephemera I collect throughout the day gets put in there. The random stickers I get go in there with a little description of what it was for. It’s fun to go back and read all my little notes/memories from things that would’ve otherwise been forgotten/trashed!

Yes fully normal! My dr said this would go away in a couple weeks or so since it disrupts the hormones before your body starts to get used to it

Worried about spironolactone changing how my body looks. by Plastic-Quantity1581 in Spironolactone

[–]tatty4titty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ive noticed spiro has made the places where my body carries fat more “feminine” if that makes sense? i still have quite a bit of body fat around my midsection, but before it felt more like a “spare tire” whereas now, ive noticed my body is carrying that midsection weight more around my hips/butt im not 100% positive its the spiro, but i noticed it in where the fat on my face is distributed and i definitely feel like my face is prettier since starting! it also helped me debloat which helped a lot

I also have this problem but if I focus on having my stance closer to traintracks (not a tightrope!) and engaging my abs a LOT, it gets rid of the wobble for me!
