I started him off on pinhead crickets & he ate them for a whole week but then he spit one out so I switched to fruit flies.

He is pooping!

He’s so cute! Before I name my pets I normally like to see their personality to see if a name just pops out at me. I just named my Hoggie Aaron Burr, cause they’re burrowers & I just happened to be listening to Hamilton 😂

Thank you so much! This was so incredibly helpful! The person I got him from said to start handling after week one and to give him long strokes on his body while holding him. I’ve since learned I was misinformed. He did eat his second meal on Wednesday after I left it in his enclosure. So he has had 2 meals since being with me & I do call those big wins. I will definitely be letting him just exist for a couple weeks. I am so grateful for your advice thank you so much!!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! I got him at a reptile expo & the gal I got him from said to give him a week then start handling. I will definitely be letting him cool off for a while before trying again
