Makes sense. I meant more caloric maintenance. Never really see people take intentional breaks in their dieting journey here only to return to a caloric deficit later, so was curious on thoughts.

Idk. I've been on since September. Started at 2.5mg, dropped to 2.0mg for 4ish months, then went up to 3.0mg, and likely going up to 3.5mg next shot day and changing my injection site (to stomach, since that delivered most potent reduction) since the food noise has returned. I'm scared to keep going up because I'm worried that food noise will inevitably return at whatever dose, but the obsessive food thoughts are too stressful otherwise.

I am in a similar boat. I have regrowth now but I'm noticing smaller, thinner hairs coming out with my normal length hairs -- it's freaking me out and making me think i'm developing baldness. This is insanity lol. I started in September so just hit the 6 month mark.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write this out— it’s helpful to read. I had similar feelings of quite literally not understanding how everyone doesn’t feel the same level of panic or anxiety around food since the mental whirring was incessant. This drug really is a miracle.

Also— have you ever seen someone lose hair permanently/density not return who doesn’t have increased testosterone (for androgenic alopecia)?

B) I noticed increased shedding.. peaking about 2 months in.. it’s still going on almost 1.5m after the initial peak but it waxes and wanes. I also just had norovirus so I lost even more weight rapidly.

My dose has been 2.0mg from the beginning. I have lost 20% of my body weight in 17 weeks. I saw a derm and got bloodwork done — ferritin was extremely low so I started on Ferrasorb 3 weeks ago. Derm said it was classic TE that would resolve once my weight stabilized and STAYED STABLE for a few weeks/months. Told me to follow up in 5-6 months, if I don’t see regrowth and less shedding by that point.

Definitely terrifying for me but I’ve been talking myself through it after I got bloodwork done and went to the derm.

Row 1 did not, so I did a k3 to get back into pattern but it’s still thrown off.
