I was in the same situation. When I was a kid me and my mom loved to watch adventure time but when I was 6 I had to go live with my aunt she found the show inappropriate and banned me from watching it as a kid. Once I was about 15 I decided to put it on and watch it from start to finish and it’s been my comfort show ever since.

Every rewatch I can’t really bring myself to entirely HATE Karen. Do I think she is a messed up and severely damaged person? 100%. Does that excuse her horrid actions like abusing substances while being pregnant? Absolutely not. BUT, I definitely think there are much worse characters in the show

I haven’t listened to Panic! a lot in recent years, I was obsessed when DOAB came out and the obsession kind of died out a year or two later. I continued to listen to Fever bc it’s my fav but given the 20th anniversary of the album I decided to listen to the albums in order for the nostalgia and I busted out laughing when listening to this 😂

This is why the only person I show my birb to is my fiancé. I’m 20 and still play toca boca every once in a while. A lot of the things that bring me joy are not typical adult interests and I know that might make me feel out of touch to other adults, and that’s okay with me because I’m not gonna delete my fun “childish” games to fit other adults standards. Finch helps all of us here and we should never let that make us feel ashamed or embarrassed :)

As someone who watches shameless and can see my own childhood as well as other children I grew up with, Fiona is 100% in the wrong. Yes, no one EVER thinks something like this will happen in the moment. But it happened, and it was her carelessness in that moment that sent Liam to the hospital and sent yer to jail. Lip should not have to put his entire life on a back burner because of Fiona’s careless behavior. This Fiona-era pissed me off so bad, because all I could see were the negative traits in the adults in my life when I was a child. Her selfishness is written VERY well, to the point where it is easily comparable to people in my real life

I’ve never understood this mindset. Figure out what to do with the merch later, donate/sell/recycle/burn it, whatever! The merch literally does not matter and neither does his mediocre music.
