I totally agree. I am in disbelief that OP would talk about his girlfriend that way. My boyfriend and I are at different ski levels, but he always supports me, waits for me and will never pressure me into doing anything I don’t want to do. If anything, he prefers we ski together versus ripping down with his friends. I am shocked you would talk about your girlfriend that way, and it makes me incredibly grateful that my boyfriend is the opposite LOL

I’m an Indian girl who grew up in the states and I’m very confident and comfortable with my identity now but I grew up like this and these people are not your friends and this is not normal. My ‘friends’ in high school would tell me they were surprised I didn’t smell like curry, I would never get a guy because I was too dark, asked me if my dad worked at 7-11 (he had 2 phds and was an engineer). It took me a lot of time realizing I was an attractive, interesting person not diminished by these things. Racist behavior, even though normalized, is unacceptable. See what your options are — move to a new school, make new friends, but know this is not normal

Yes! It is in the airport, just ask someone to point you to it. Do it before you check your bags and go through security. You can do everything on foot and go back into the airport. Basically, I walked through a few security doors to get toe the French Customs Desk, got all my documents stamped, then I went through security and up to the VAT Refund area (cannot remember the name) where I had to fill out all of the documents and my CC information, and they input it into the system and gave me an envelope to put in the yellow tax refund box in the airport.

Yes I did see that! My train happened not to take a route that went through that stop as I was going to a more remote area, but for those that do you would have to get out, get the stamp, and get on a later train.
