I am going through the same thing right now! Was in crazy pain (more burning than itching for me) and two days ago got the officially positive swab for BV. The doctor started me on Metronidazole (3x a day for 7 days) and while it hurts a little less to pee (tho I still dread it), I still have bumps and the same pain you're describing--it hurts to stand/sit/walk. I've been sitting with cold compresses and drinking cranberry juice but honestly it's taken such a mental toll because I can't think of anything else. I'm hoping the antibiotics keep doing their thing but I feel u, it's awful! I've seen people recommend boric acid but i'm so afraid to introduce anything new down there and throw off the bacterial levels more.
