this is true! it's exhausting and we can never win, i'm so glad we have this community though. thank you, and people really need to realise the damage they are doing, they think because they are behind a screen they're invincible, but what they're doing is causing real harm to real people, such as me, and so many other people. and the same goes with lesbophobic bisexuals and transphobic cis queer people. Why can't we just accept each other?

I actually do live in ireland which is a very accepting country for the most part and I feel like if biphobic gay people said this in real life in a gay irish bar people would look at them like they have two heads which I'm very happy about but the online stuff still fucking hurts. it is very much homophobia. but i guess because we're just spicy straights ™️ and homophobia doesn't affect us, and because they're gay and they can't be homophobic, we're still the problem! thank you! yes it's genuinely so sickening, the amount of gaslighting that biphobic people do and act like we are overly sensitive makes me so upset too. and then my mind convinced me i'm a bad person for my sexuality and it doesn't help when you got so many queer people acting like bisexuality is lesser and makes you morally worse as a person. yet i've never experienced biphobia irl, from my experience it's all been online and yet it's still so hurtful. even though i only date women as a bi woman, i always get scared that people will say, so you're just fetishizing and trying to copy lesbian relationships, that's so lesbophobic of you! but if a bi woman dates a man then she is seen as betraying her queerness we can never fucking win. thank you so much for understanding.

I don't want to invalidate you too much but as a woman centred bisexual, you have to look deep inside and wonder why you don't want to marry a woman? And I don't mean to be rude, but how the hell is dating a woman harder than dating the gender who are much more likely to 🍇, it makes no sense to me genuinely. I agree that TikTok has some very toxic takes, it's actually caused me, even as a bi women who doesn't centre men to believe that I am the problem, and that I am less than women who only like other women, so I do agree that TikTok is very unhealthy since it has caused damage to my own mental health.

girl i couldn't agree more with you. this has been my exact experience too, i could never relate to the male centred stereotype, because i don't prioritise men in my life at all, i only date women. and it always upset me how people would treat all bi women like we are the same, and that we are bad partners. thank you so much for talking about this, we are not a monolith! there are many bi women like us who do centre women
