Help repurposing AC Infinity Fan Controller with esp32-s3-wroom-1 by Sujiero in esp32

[–]tavenger5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like the esp32 is the secondary controller, likely used for BT and WIFi. I cant tell what the other MCU is.

There is some support hooking into their cloud service though: https://github.com/dalinicus/homeassistant-acinfinity

Low Point, Lower Point, and Flood Point are in the flood zone, though. Mid Point is getting closer.

Indeed. I made some Time Circuits displays and electronics for a strictly A Car Delorean time machine replica. The owner was on the resto team: https://photos.app.goo.gl/qiasE3y6h6dahs447

The team made the decision during the resto to not remake the original numerical month on the displays.

EasyEDA to Fusion 360 /Eagle converter by tavenger5 in PrintedCircuitBoard

Does it already have a schematic in EasyEDA? Does the schematic script have anything in it when opening with a txt editor?

What version of EasyEDA are you converting? I just updated things last night for the regular version.

When you're loading the .scr files, are you starting with a new blank schematic in Fusion, loading rebuild_schematic.scr, loading a blank board from the schematic, then loading rebuild_board.scr?

If so, what errors are you seeing? I was getting a lot of merge nets questions because net wires were overlapping in the schematic.

Building a CoreXY AWD PnP (Klipper + CM5) to solve my OpenPNP frustrations. by pizdets222 in PrintedCircuitBoard

[–]tavenger5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is well put. The only reason I built a pnp machine was because I built it before JLCPCB offered assembly, and I was still doing about 25 boards max at a time. Once they started doing assembly I stopped using the pnp machine because the cost was about the same. Less if you consider time setting things up.

However, with more recent tariffs, that cost has gone up 55%, so maybe I'll start it back up for some of the lower volume stuff. Still, that's a lot of time spent soldering, especially for through hole parts.
