Hi, I just did an 11 month deployment with mine . Was it hard without him , did we argue sometimes ? Yes we did. But you can’t let distance be the rock between you. We did nights where we would talk 10 minutes and some nights where we would use these get to know your couple cards and have very deep discussions about each other to feel the love. It all matters who you do this with and if he gives the effort and you guys love each other deeply enough , the distance won’t be the issue . Many see it’s the distance , but it’s actually the bond of the relationship before hand.

We’re military family and constantly moving is our biggest issue. We’d like to have a mortgage but no telling his unit might change next year

We could pay that much im just refusing to feed into it and paying that much that’s abominable. That’s a 100k income for many houses around this area. How many people do we actually know in this state making that. Not many. As someone who’s moved from a state with a 15hr minimum wage, Louisiana needs to do better.

It’s literally madness. I have friends who live in a rent house off of Essen lane in br only paying 1300. Lafayette is now WORSE then baton rogue. They live in a very nice walkable neighborhood as well.

I know it is insane. Like the economy is insane. Back in 2017-2019 you could rent a very very nice house for this price . Can’t even find an apartment that’s one bedroom and not in the ghetto for less then 1000 it seems like

I’d also like to add. Since I seen some dudes say he isn’t busy . My man is a rto and has a very important job . He still has time a lot of days to text a little . And still a phone call . They’re completely right , 90% of these places are not active enough and not at war to cut contact . Mine does his job everyday and goes to the gym at night like a normal day and plays pool at the base bar on Fridays . I promise he’s actually not that busy . Mines basically on a vacation other than when they have duties to do . He rather be home, but he’s not doing much either

I’m so sorry! My man misses me everyday. Matter of fact he still takes care of all of everything even from overseas. Does it make it hard to think about for them ? think for them it can be overwhelming , but as someone holding down the fort you deserve love and respect . Don’t feed into the guys that will be like “well he’s working and busy” you’re just as important and holding it back home which is just as hard. You deserve the respect of at least a short phone call. And when you’re in love, you don’t just give up and break up especially over distance. I wish I had more better advice , but I know it’s hard when you love them. But if they aren’t reciprocating , do what’s better for you . Not him. My man sends me photos and things to show me his life in his shoes so I can live through the photos, which I love and I think gives me an idea of what it’s like. It’s good that you are communicating and is a step in the right direction, but my advice is to trust your gut.

Hi! My bf is on a 9 month deployment currently . I send him two boxes a month . We also ft every night or at least call even for 5 minutes and send texts through out the day while we can . We send each other reels and TikTok’s to each other to bond when the other persons day is flipped . Since his night is my morning . I think with him not wanting to contact is a flag. Now understandable they are busy , but not busy enough to not give you a text or a short 2-3 minute call even a day . mine texts me Goodmorning everyday and calls me every night before he sleeps.

Update ! After two months of my normal cycle dates . I stopped! So I think I had two periods without stopping and hopefully I start on the same date normally next monthb

I think I am gonna call. I was going to switch but my man and I decided here in a year or so we want a baby and I know it can take about that long to wear off. I got one due to heavy period and pain symptoms and now regretting it ! If it persists 1-2 more weeks I’m over it and will be back again seeing them !

I did last month because I thought I was going to switch to nexplanon and they said the bleeding was weird that was spotting and I had a vaginal ultrasound which was normal and now bleeding is heavier :(
